Yesterday, I wrote a post on other ways to earn points and miles in everyday life, which included rebate portals. I don’t really use the cashback portals (as I often get plenty of value from points), but there’s a nifty one available at TopCashback if you are targeted that you can easily take advantage of.
I’m not targeted for this offer, but a lot of people are. It’s basically what it says: spend $15 after going through the TopCashback portal, and you get an extra $2.50 on top of whatever other rebate you would have gotten.
If I were targeted, I would purchase a $15 Instacart giftcard on Giftcards.com. Right now, TopCashback is offering 2.02% back on branded giftcards. On a $15 purchase, I would only get $0.30 back on the purchase, but, with the $2.50 extra, I’d get $2.80 back, which is almost 20% back on a $15 giftcard.
In terms of paying out, TopCashback has always been great. When I was purchasing giftcards in large quantities, they always paid out on time, and they were easy to work with if there was an error.
