Hello all! For those who have subscribed to my email, it has been approximately 9 months since you have received an email…but that does not mean that Professor of Points has not been busy!

For the past 9 months, I have published all new content (and slowly moved all of my good original content originally posted here) over to The Points Analyst, as we have formed a partnership to bring together the great work we are both doing!

It has been an absolute joy working with The Points Analyst team. I have really gotten to focus on digging into my analytical skills, writing tons of reviews with a rating system, as well as some great articles such as our Credit Card Transfer Predictions using data science techniques.

What Does This Mean for the Current Website?

When I started this website, it was truly a labor of love. I made no money for the first year of writing regularly, but it was amazing seeing comments and receiving emails about how I had helped people gain perspective on a topic or whether or not to book a particular product.

This site will not be going away, but it will be shifting. Over the next month, I will be updating the website for two main purposes: points and miles consultations and award booking services and travel photo essays.

Points and Miles Consultations and Award Booking Services

This will be the main purpose of this website moving forward. Whether you are just starting out in points and miles or have been using points and miles for years, I will be offering both points and miles consultations and an award booking service.

The points and miles consultation is just that: a consultation on maximizing points and miles. Whether its trying to figure out where to start when it comes to the world of points and miles or developing a strategy to build an itinerary to anywhere in the world using points and miles, I will work with you 1-on-1 so that you have the best itinerary put together that meets your needs and makes a memorable trip for you.

Earning points and miles is easy. Finding the award space you want is where the real challenge occurs. The award booking service goes beyond the consultation to actually help book awards for both flights and hotels. This service will work with you 1-on-1 to make sure that you book the most incredible trips. Whether it’s help figuring out which airline to book, which miles to use, or which connection to take, my extensive knowledge of flights and hotels will make sure you are getting the best value to create a memorable trip for you and your loved ones. This service goes beyond giving specific recommendations, but actually finding the award space that you want and need…and you don’t pay unless we find it!

Furthermore, once everything is booked, this service will be able to monitor all your reservations and work with airlines and hotels to make sure that everything goes off without a hitch.

More details will come once it is officially launched, but we will effectively be a points and miles travel agency, making the hard part of actually using points and miles that much easier. Travel Inspiration Photo Essays

While I love the business of points and miles, I travel for the love of exploring new destination. While I am not a big photographer, I have gotten progressively better at documenting my travels with photography.

It definitely isn’t supposed to make money, but just be a labor of love. If you are signed up for my email list, you’ll get a notification whenever I publish one. I won’t make any promises on how often that will be, but I plan on uploading photo essays, which are 90% photos.

Thank you for being a part of it! I am touched every time I hear from someone that they have found the work I am doing to be useful. This blog has never been about the money (it’s most definitely a side hustle!), but about helping people travel more for less.
